Rule 62 Fundraising is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds for area Alcohol & Drug Treatment Centers to help people that are without insurance or the financial resources pay for their treatment, ultimately assisting them in becoming productive and contributing members of their community. We have also taken on a personal mission of showing the newly sober person that they can have fun and laugh again in their early recovery.
A Message from the CEO
I want to thank all of the Corporate Sponsors, Hole Sponsors, Anonymous Donors and the many "behind-the-scenes" Volunteers that helped to make the 9th Annual Recovery Golf Benefit at Hilliard Lakes in the Westlake-Avon area on Friday, July 12th a rousing success! I also want to extend a special THANK YOU to the Volunteers that participated in the 11th Annual Summer Fundraising Bash that was held on Saturday, July 13th at the Magnificat High School Performing Arts Center in Rocky River.
The many tax-deductible donations we received helped to insure that indigent men and women got the help they needed in dealing with their alcoholism and/or drug addiction. We were able to assist a record 6 different agencies this year: Lorain County Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services, the Edna House, the Julie Adams House, the Absolute House, the Lantern and Sobriety in Motion.
As many of you know, in late 2012 Rule 62 Fundraising moved to Daytona Beach, Florida where we will continue what we've been doing for over a dozen years now. We created Rule 62 Productions to maintain our presence in northeast Ohio. Please keep your eyes open for information about events going on in the Cleveland area next summer.
I especially want to give a big SHOUT OUT to our company's V.P., Jim Schrantz for doing a great job with our events this year! The Recovery Community in the Cleveland area is something special and will always have a place in my heart that is near and dear to me... So thank you again for your years of support!
John Longlais, CEO
We are now gearing up for our many 2014 events and need your help...
We are currently raising funds to put on our 2014 Summer Fundraising Bash. You can now make a tax-deductible donation on our Donation Page via PayPal... Big or small--it doesn't matter. Everything helps!! Recent survey suggests that every dollar spent on treatment saves society seven dollars in costs associated with alcoholism and drug addiction (i.e. legal, health care, economic, employment, etc.).
